CDR's Analysis of Governor Spitzer's 2007-2008 Executive Budget
The Center for Disability Rights has released its analysis and response to New York State Governor Eliot
Spitzer's proposed 2007-2008 Executive Budget. While CDR praises the Governor for several initiatives to
shift long term care Medicaid spending away from costly institutions and into community-based settings, several
significant problems were also recognized. All-in-all, however, this budget is acknowledged to be much better
than any other budget proposed by the previous administration. Click below to read CDR's Full Analysis.
