Web Designer/Helpdesk Position
(Main Office - Rochester, NY)
Duties will include redesigning and maintaining 3 company websites. Must have a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript. Applicant must be knowledgeable about web accessibility standards. Knowledge of Adobe Flash and other graphic software applications would be a plus.
In addition, the applicant will be required to perform general helpdesk duties for PC hardware and software support.
Independent Living Skills Trainer for Consumers in TBI program

Assessing and assisting individuals diagnosed with Traumatic Brain Injury in a one-to-one clinical setting in the community. Independent Livings Skills Trainers develop tools and strategies to help participants in the Traumatic Brain Injury Waiver Program to perform activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living independently. This clinical position assists participants to work toward accomplishing their goals from individualized plans developed collaboratively with skills trainers. Independent Livings Skills Trainers act as a liaison between individuals with participants in the community and other service providers for continuity and quality service provision. Qualifications: Bachelor degree required. Two years of experience completing functionally bases assessments, developing comprehensive treatment plans and teaching individuals with disabilities and/or seniors to be more functionally independent.
Deaf Communication Specialist
(Main Office - Rochester, NY)
Develop and implement strategies to improve the participant’s activities of daily living. Assist individual with expanding language & communication knowledge base. Assist treatment professionals to facilitate communication and reinforce treatment activities. Provide support for appropriate recreational outlets and activities. Complete paperwork necessary to chart progress of persons served. Assist staff members in communication using sign-language and deaf-related issues. ASL/Minimal Language Skills (MLS) and minimum 6months job related experience. Availability must include evenings, weekends, and overnights. Deaf or Hard of hearing preferred. Achieve and maintain SCIP-R certification and First Aid/CPR.
Sign Language Interpreter

Interprets and translates spoken language using American Sign Language and other manual signing systems, and vice versa, to facilitate communication between hearing and Deaf individuals. Candidate must be fluent in ASL and be able to sign and voice interprets. The candidate needs to have knowledge of Deaf culture and one year experience interpreting for Deaf individuals. Must have experience in providing service coordination to individuals with developmental disabilities. Service coordinating experience in providing services under the traumatic brain injury waiver highly desirable. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Provides one-on-one assistance to individuals with traumatic brain injuries in living skills instruction such as: banking, budgeting, housekeeping, shopping, meal planning, medical appointments, socialization, supervision and oversight etc. Must be eighteen years old. Must have a high school diploma and have reliable transportation. Must have the ability and skills necessary to meet consumers needs that will be addressed through the service. Registered Nurse: Director Consumer Services

The Director of Consumer Services is responsible for the supervision of the coordination of all patient care services delivered by the Agency. This is inclusive of assessments, plans, and implementation of the patient plan of care. Additionally, the director is responsible for the overall supervision, competency, education and evaluation of licensed and non-licensed staff delivering patient care. Must have current New York State registered professional nursing license; two years as a supervising community health nurse or two years of home care nursing experience or a minimum of three years of nursing experience in an environment similar to home care,masters degree in nursing, public health, business administration or another health related field or the equivalent of the nursing experience in a supervisory capacity and bachelor’s degree.
HCSS Supervisor

Assistant Coordinator of Habilitation Services

This candidate will perform job duties in the areas of scheduling, program development, training, and assisting with day-to-day coordination of the habitation services and staff supervision under the regulatory requirements of the OMRDD Home and Community Based Waiver program.
