Disability Rights Issues Being Addressed By CDR

CDR Makes a Difference

Throughout the years, CDR has been involved in numerous advocacy actions. These actions included trips to Washington, Albany, Syracuse, Binghamton, as well as addressing issues in our hometown of Rochester, NY. As part of ADAPT, we have engaged in non-violent civil disobedience as a means of creating enduring systems change. Over the years, we have fought hard for the disabled community to increase the availability of accessible housing, accessible transportation and consumer controlled community based care and services.
